Location:  Part of Fairmount Hot Springs located just south of the main entrance on the East side of Hwy 95


Site: #245


Site: Very roomy site with a firepit and a very nice view of the river and mountains.  Water and electricity included with site.  Very quiet!

 

Facilities:  Public toilets and free showers were very clean but a little bit of a walk from this site.


Drinking water / Food:  Small campground store on site.  Restaurants and stores available close by.


Firewood: Large bag reasonably priced available from campground store.  


Notes: Great location with lots of activities in the area including; kayaking, golf, hiking, hot springs pool, and two large lakes. 

Kimberly River Campground

Location:  South west of Kimberly off Hwy 95 on St. Marky Lake Road.


Site: #22.


Site: Very roomy site with a firepit surrounded by trees.  Water and electricity included with site.  Very quiet!


Facilities:  Public toilets and free showers were very clean but a little bit of a walk from this site.


Drinking water / Food:  Small campground store on site.  Restaurants and stores available in Kimberly about 10 minutes away.


Firewood: Available from campground store.  


Notes: This is the campground of family dreams.  Beautiful treed sites that are not too close together.  Breath-taking walks around the campground and along the river.  On site pool, mini golf, Frisbee golf and a playground will keeps kids of all ages entertained.  Could easily spend a week or more at a place like this!

Location:  North west end of Shuswap lake in Scotch Creek.


Site: #303.


Site: Very roomy site with a firepit surrounded by trees.  Electricity included with site.  Very quiet! Very close to shower and washroom.  Water supply close by as well.


Facilities:  Public toilets and free showers were clean and close but did not have the hotest water.


Drinking water / Food:  Small campground store on site.  Restaurants and stores available in Scotch Creek about 10 minutes away.  The Hub, located right at the park entrance has an ice cream shop and pop that host lives music on Friday and Saturday night.


Firewood: Available from park gates or security touring in golf carts.  


Notes: Located right on the lake with nice beaches and playgrounds all within walking distance.  Beautiful treed sites gives you your own little piece of paradise.  Could easily spend a week or more enjoying this campground and surrounding areas!


Only issue; who cleans the washrooms from 0830-0930 in the morning?
